HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Huntsville Havoc are excited to announce the signing of defenseman Connor Lovie for the upcoming season.
Lovie, 27, is a 6’1” defenseman from London, Ontario. He spent his collegiate career at the University of Waterloo where he appeared in 122 games and recorded 52 points (11 G, 41 A).
Before his collegiate career, Lovie played 200 games for the Cochrane Crunch of the NOJHL, serving as captain for 159 games, and tallying 26 goals and 78 assists.
“Connor’s leadership qualities are clear, having captained his team for three years,” said Head Coach Stuart Stefan. “He’s a relentless worker, tough as nails, and skates extremely well. We’re excited to see how he transitions to the pro level and brings that same work ethic to our lineup.”
