HUNTSVILLE – Baxter Kanter will be returning to Huntsville when the 2020-21 season begins in December, head coach Glenn Detulleo announced Thursday.
Kanter joined the Havoc on January 10th last season, playing in 20 games before COVID-19 forced the cancellation of the season. Kanter immediately made his physical presence known, accumulating 13 penalty minutes over his first five games.
Kanter failed to tally any goals or assists in the shortened season, but evident from his 69 penalty minutes, he proved to be a force to be reckoned with as a rookie.
Kanter is the fifth forward to sign for 2020-21 as he joins John Schiavo, Rob Darrar, Tyler Piacentini, and Sy Nutkevitch on the front line, Nolan Kaiser and Alec Brandrup on defense, and goalie Max Milosek.
HAVOC CLASSIC
Mark your calendars as the Huntsville Havoc will host the Inaugural Havoc Classic at Huntsville Country Club on September 28, 2020.
We are excited to pretend to golf, professionally stink, drink, and have a good time. There will be door prizes, player appearances, and even chances to compete against or have a Havoc player join your team for a hole.
The tournament will be a four-man scramble and will feature a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. with registration opening at 12 noon. Food for players will be provided as well as range balls and more. Prizes will be given out based on placement and door prizes will be given out as well.
