HUNTSVILLE – Defenseman Alec Brandrup has signed to return for his third season with the Huntsville Havoc, head coach Glenn Detulleo announced Thursday.
Brandrup, a Rochester, Minnesota native, played in 45 games for Huntsville this past year. Through two seasons with the Havoc, he has played in 99 games, accumulating 32 assists and 92 penalty minutes.
Brandrup was an integral part of a more physical 2019-20 Huntsville team that averaged 3.4 penalty minutes more than in 2018-19, while maintaining the same 2.7 goals allowed average.
Brandrup joins fellow defenseman Nolan Kaiser, forwards John Schiavo, Rob Darrar, Tyler Piacentini, Sy Nutkevitch and goalie Max Milosek as players returning for next season.
Mark your calendars as the Huntsville Havoc will host the Inaugural Havoc Classic at Huntsville Country Club on September 28, 2020.
We are excited to pretend to golf, professionally stink, drink, and have a good time. There will be door prizes, player appearances, and even chances to compete against or have a Havoc player join your team for a hole.
The tournament will be a four-man scramble and will feature a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. with registration opening at 12 noon. Food for players will be provided as well as range balls and more. Prizes will be given out based on placement and door prizes will be given out as well.
