HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The Huntsville Havoc have announced the signing of forward Dylan Stewart for the 2023-24 season.
Stewart, 26, made a significant impact during his five-year tenure at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) from 2018 to 2023. In the 2022-2023 season, his performance was nothing short of outstanding, amassing a total of 29 points, comprising 10 goals and 19 assists, across 24 games. His exceptional contributions earned him the prestigious distinction of being named to the ACAC First All-Conference Team twice. Furthermore, Stewart played a pivotal role in NAIT’s championship victory in the 2021-2022 season.
Prior to his tenure at NAIT, Stewart showcased his talents in the WHL as a member of the Prince Albert Raiders. Over the course of 80 games with the team, his standout season occurred in 2014-15, when he found the back of the net 6 times in 68 games.
In a corresponding move, F David Thomson has been placed on the 14-day injured reserve.
