HUNTSVILLE – Head coach Glenn Detulleo announced Thursday that assistant captain from the 2019-20 season, Sy Nutkevitch, has inked his signature for the 2020-21 season.
Nutkevitch played in 45 games this past season, scoring 16 goals while adding 24 assists. He was one of three players to total 40 or more points in the COVID-19 abbreviated season, joining Shawn Bates (46 points) and Rob Darrar (45 points).
Nutkevtich has been one of the most consistent players since joining the Havoc in 2016. In four years with the Havoc, he has averaged 15.25 goals and 37.5 assists per regular season. In Huntsville’s two SPHL Championship runs during the 2018 and 2019 playoffs, Nutkevitch contributed 19 total points in 16 games.
