HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The Huntsville Havoc announce the re-signing of defenseman Ben Schultheis ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Schultheis returns to Huntsville after a strong first professional season with the Havoc in 2025-26. The Mount Juliet, Tennessee, native appeared in 51 regular-season games, recording 5 goals and 14 assists for 19 points.
The 6-foot-3, right-handed defenseman also suited up in 2 playoff games for Huntsville, gaining valuable postseason experience in his first professional campaign.
Schultheis’ return gives the Havoc another familiar presence on the blue line and brings back a player who made an immediate impact in his first season in Huntsville.
We’re excited to have Benny back for another season and look forward to seeing him continue to grow and make his mark with the Havoc!
