HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Huntsville Havoc are excited to announce the signing of goaltender Mike Robinson for the 2024-25 season.
Robinson, 27, returns to Huntsville for his third season with the Havoc. In 21 appearances, he posted a strong 14-5 record with a 0.918 save percentage. His standout performances during the 2022-23 season earned him call-ups to both the Adirondack Thunder (ECHL) and the Utica Comets (AHL). Last season, Robinson appeared in 9 games with the Nottingham Panthers of the EIHL (United Kingdom) before returning to the Havoc for the remainder of the season.
Before turning pro, Robinson played collegiate hockey at the University of New Hampshire (NCAA DI). He played in 112 games over five years, finishing with a 37-53-15 record, a 0.899 save percentage, and 8 shutouts.
“Robo came in last season and helped solidify the net for us.” said Head Coach Stuart Stefan, “He had a great run in the playoffs and we are looking for him to pick up were he left off.
