HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Huntsville Havoc are excited to announce the signing of defenseman Mason Palmer for the upcoming season.
Palmer, 25, is a 6’2” defenseman from Plymouth, Minnesota. He returns for a second season with the Havoc after a rookie campaign in which he appeared in 51 games, recording 3 goals and 12 assists.
Before joining the Havoc, Palmer spent two seasons at Northern Michigan University (NCAA DI) before transferring to Augsburg University (NCAA DIII). Over his four-year collegiate career, he appeared in 104 games, amassing 1 goal and 39 assists.
“Mason uses his size and physicality effectively, especially in tough areas,” said Head Coach Stuart Stefan. “He kept getting better as the season went on and really stepped up in the playoffs. We’re excited to see him continue to grow this year.”
