HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The Huntsville Havoc are bringing back a fan favorite, announcing the return of defenseman Terry Ryder for the 2026-27 season.
Ryder returns to Huntsville after spending most of the 2025-26 season with the Peoria Rivermen, where he appeared in 41 games and recorded 6 points (1 goal, 5 assists) after being traded. His time in Peoria also gave Ryder the opportunity to share the ice with his brother, Tyler, making the season a memorable one for the Ryder family.
Now, the Michigan native is headed back to Huntsville, where he has already made an impact both on and off the ice.
During his first stint with the Havoc, Ryder appeared in 51 games across the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons, totaling 18 points (1 goal, 17 assists). His steady presence on the blue line and commitment to the team quickly made him a valued member of the Havoc locker room.
His return adds more than experience to the defensive corps. Ryder brings familiarity, leadership and a strong connection to the Havoc culture- qualities that will be just as important off the ice as his contributions on it.
After spending last season across the league, Ryder is coming home to Huntsville.
Welcome back, TR!
