HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The Huntsville Havoc announce the signing of goaltender, Eric Ward, ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Ward, 25, a native of Edmonton, Alberta, spent the past three seasons with Grant MacEwan University, appearing in 26 games. In 2025-26, Ward posted a 4-3-4 record with a 3.69 goals-against average and a .882 save percentage across 11 games.
Prior to his collegiate career, Ward spent three seasons in the AJHL with the Drayton Valley Thunder and Drumheller Dragons. He totaled 91 games with a 2.72 goals-against average and a .908 save percentage. In 2021-22 with Drumheller, Ward posted a 23-9-7 record in 41 games with a 2.49 GAA and .908 save percentage.
