HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Huntsville Havoc are excited to announce the return of forwards Phil and Doug Elgstam for the 2024-25 season.
Phil Elgstam returns to Huntsville for his second season with the Havoc following an impressive rookie campaign that saw him tally 17 goals and 24 assists in 50 games. Prior to beginning his professional career, Phil played four seasons at Norwich University (NCAA DIII), scoring 44 points (21 G, 23 A) in 69 games.
Doug Elgstam is back for his second season with the Havoc after a solid performance last year, recording 13 goals and 14 assists in 37 games. Before joining the Havoc, he made his professional debut with the Pensacola Ice Flyers, putting up 31 points (11 G, 20 A) in 36 games.
“Phil plays with a bit of physicality and has a knack for creating big moments offensively,” said Head Coach Stuart Stefan. “Doug is a skilled player who brings offensive punch, and we’re excited to see how both of them can elevate their play this season.”
The Elgstam Brothers are ready to bring their dynamic play back to the ice and contribute to another exciting season for the Havoc.
